Dressing to accentuate height
Vertical stripes are the answer.  When it comes to a work situation, a pinstripe suit is always a smart choice  and has the added advantage of making you look both taller as well as giving the illusion of a slimmer you.   Another good idea  is  to avoid  tucking  in your shirt  and to wear it over your  trousers as this will give the impression of lengthening your upper body and adds to your appearing taller.   (White is the best colour for this effect).

Try wearing narrow cut trousers that hug your thighs and bottom as this can also appear to give you more height.  You can combine this with slender heels to accentuate the look.
